Alan Levy is the Founder and President of Epee Education. After many years mentoring students and young professionals entering the pharmaceutical industry, Alan found himself consistently discussing topics that new grads should know but were not being taught. Realizing this was systemic across all the local, highly reputable universities, Alan started looking for a better way to deal with it. After learning it wasn't just Pharma, Alan realized a business needed to be formed to solve the full extent of the issue. Epee Education developed as his solution. A virtual education platform enabling experienced professionals to share actual experiences could bridge the knowledge gap between education and real-life for young professionals around the world. Alan developed his love for mentoring students and young professionals through his work with the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). He held many local Board positions for a decade culminating with his Presidency in 2015. Later being awarded ISPE’s “2015 International Member of the Year” for his service. Professionally, prior to starting Epee, Alan is an engineer and project manager within the Pharmaceutical industry. His intentionally diverse experience spans the gamut from assisting start-up biotech companies get off the ground to being the Global Sustainability Lead on a $500M+ international program-of-works. Alan holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova. He also holds the distinction of being named “Young Engineer of the Year” in 2013 by the Engineers' Club of Philadelphia.
