Instructor Bio
Teresa Whitney, Ph.D., is an Environmental Social Psychologist who specializes in user-centric design research, socio-spatial intergroup relations, spatially facilitating collaboration, and conflict mediation. She has a track record of delivering large-scale complex change management programs on accelerated schedules to change-adverse clients while maintaining design standards. Dr. Whitney is focused on identifying user needs in order to inform design decisions and lead innovation, placing the user at the center of the design process. She is an expert in occupant experience surveys, interviews, focus groups, ethnographic participant observation, observational protocols, task analysis, process mapping, and workshop design.
