Emilie has been in the Life Sciences Industry for over 14 years. Recently Emilie became the new Sr. Director of Process Engineering at Iovance Biotherapeutics. Prior to that, Emilie was the USA Managing Partner for Laporte Consultants. Her responsibilities include leading Laporte’s biopharmaceutical activities in the USA in addition to designing and implementing cGMP compliant biotech facilities and processes. Her expertise includes designing R&D laboratories, process scale-up from lab to pilot and commercial scale. She has been a trusted consultant to some of the biggest Pharmaceutical companies for the past 12 years in addition to helping start-up biotech companies establish their project management, manufacturing, validation and quality programs.

Emilie is a member of the ISPE Biotech Community of Practice. Her efforts in this space include co-writing an internationally recognized article on bioprocessing and given presentations at bioprocessing conferences.

Prior to Laporte Consultants, she was a project engineer at Axcan Pharma from 2004 to 2007. She obtained a B.S in chemical engineering from the University of Montreal and is fluent in French and English.
