Alan Levy is the Founder and President of Epee Education. Alan established Epee Education to bridge the gap between what we learn in school and everything we're never taught by asking professionals to share their real-world experience with students and young professionals. After mentoring individual students and young professionals for many years, Alan wants Epee to bring real-world experience to as many people as possible.
Prior to starting Epee, Alan had been a consultant within the Pharmaceutical industry for 20 years. Most recently serving working for Mace North America, where he was the Global Sustainability Lead for an award-winning Sustainability program within a $500m international program-of-works for GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Prior to Mace, Alan was a Design Project Manager for Javan Engineering. There he ran complex projects for companies like Merck, J&J, and BristolMyers-Squibb including all manner of lab renovations, site upgrades, and utility replacements.
Alan also spent most of his career supporting the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE). There he held multiple positions on the Philadelphia-area Board of Directors culminating with his Presidency in 2015. He also supports ISPE at the International level, and was awarded ISPE’s “2015 International Member of the Year” for his service. Alan holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the Missouri Institute of Science and Technology and a Masters Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova. He also holds the distinction of being the “2013 Young Engineer of the Year” of Philadelphia.
